A few arrested in Seahaven Seaside Resort shooting

Panama Town Seaside law enforcement say they arrested a few men and women in link with Saturday’s shooting at Sea Haven Resort.

They say they arrested Marquis Thompson, 27, of Lithia Springs, Georgia Heather Slay, 27, of Lithia Springs, Ga and Tahirah Ogunti, 26, of Atlanta, Ga.

Officials say Thompson allegedly obtained into an argument with a single of the resort workforce, then shoot the worker once in the still left arm.

Thompson then ran off to his space, grabbed Slay’s keys, and drove off east on Entrance Seaside Highway.

Officers say they afterwards observed two firearms in Ogunti’s possession, and she was charged with carrying a hid firearm. They also say Slay was billed with giving bogus info throughout the investigation.

Thompson was later positioned in Dothan, Alabama at the Traveling J vacation middle. He was arrested without the need of incident for attempted murder.

All around 4:30 Saturday evening, Panama Metropolis Beach front Police officers responded to a capturing at Seahaven Seashore Resort in Panama Town Seaside.

Police say when they arrived they found out a sufferer who was suffering from non-daily life-threatening gunshot wounds. The target was transported to an place healthcare facility.

Officers say this is an isolated incident. The investigation is however ongoing.
