Emily Atack endured an awkward moment on her return to the UK after catching her driver googling her “for a good 20 minutes” while she was sat on the back seat.

The Inbetweeners star had been filming a three-part travel documentary called Trailblazers in the United States before returning home on Sunday.

With the 32-year-old sat directly behind the driver’s seat, she managed to sneakily video her driver looking her up on the Internet to see whether she was the celebrity he thought she was.

After zooming in on the driver’s phone screen, you can clearly see several photos of her as he browsed links of the comedian and impressionist.

The Celebrity Juice team captain posted a screenshot of the driver’s phone screen on her Instagram story, with the caption: “P***ing down with rain and my driver has been googling me for a good 20 minutes. Good to be back in the UK.”

The incident did not seem to derail Atack’s homecoming as she posted another story with the caption ‘Home’ followed by a red love heart as she poured herself a glass of sparking rose wine surrounded with scented candles when she arrived home, with her dog Penny also in the background.

Atack spent just under three weeks in the US filming Trailblazers alongside fellow comedian Ruby Wax and popstar Mel B as the trio retraced the footsteps of inspiration 19th century female traveller Isabella Bird.

Bird travelled alone across the American Wild West and documented the adventure in her original 1873 book – A Lady’s Life In The Rocky Mountains – with the three female celebrities paying homage to the British explorer.

The three celebrities took to social media as they teased glimpses of their activities during the three-part series, with Atack posting a photo of all three women riding horsing on the mountain side to her 1.8m Instagram followers. The trio also enjoyed the snow at the top of the Rocky Mountains in Aspen and she also posted another of her posing in the Utah desert.

Atack recently showed off her “mini outdoor nightclub” following a stunning garden transformation.

Her refurbished garden had taken months of work to complete, with hedges laced with fairy lights, a lovely seating area and a hanging egg chair among the new features.
