‘Too much for me’ Carol Kirkwood on why she refused to take over her parents’ hotel | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

BBC Breakfast presenter Carol Kirkwood was invited on to a latest episode of The One Exhibit to focus on her new novel, The Hotel on the Riviera. She talked about the ebook with fantastic enthusiasm which led host Ronan Keating to question if she would at any time want to acquire around a resort herself. Even so, Carol recalled how her moms and dads worked all over the clock to search soon after their hotel which discouraged her from subsequent in their footsteps.

She described: “The family have owned this lodge for several yrs but have permit it grow to be a bit shabby.

Co-host Alex Scott then questioned about her fiancé as she was impressed he wakes up in advance of 2.45am to make Carol a cup of tea just about every early morning before she heads off to work.
