Travel answers: Do I have to accept a credit history for my canceled tour? | Travel

A group of good friends and I booked a tour to Spain and Morocco through Tripmasters, a tour operator, in 2019. Our flights had been on Delta Air Strains.

In March 2020, Delta rescheduled our return flights to Minneapolis mainly because of COVID-19. This revised itinerary stopped in Boston with no return flight to Minneapolis. Delta issued a vacation waiver and available to reschedule the flights with out penalty.

In April, I canceled our lodge reservations by using e-mail, spoke with Delta to cancel our flights and located out the tour operator manufactured the flight reservations and owned the booking. Tripmasters also notified us that our motels and the flight involving Spain and Morocco were mostly nonrefundable.

I have contacted Tripmasters various moments to ask for a whole refund. A Tripmasters consultant states we can only reschedule. In late April 2020, with COVID-19 raging in Spain, travel limits imposed and the continued closing of accommodations and tourist spots, we understood this excursion was difficult.
