Vacation picks up with San Diego rated No. 2 location for Fourth of July

SAN DIEGO – A Mission Bay hotel is reporting 90% of its rooms are booked up for the holiday break weekend, a likely sign of issues to appear in San Diego forward of the Fourth of July.

But San Diego isn’t the only scorching location, AAA Travel Professional Doug Shupe said AAA is predicting 3.3 million Southern Californians to journey for the Fourth of July. Las Vegas and various national parks rank superior on the list.

The San Diego Intercontinental Airport anticipates a 10% hike in passengers this holiday break weekend in contrast to current journey. Nevertheless, Shupe explained most journey in Southern California is going to be on the roadways.
